Navarrete

I spent six months in Arroyo Hondo, so when I was transferred to Navarrete it felt like I was leaving my second home. It was a complete change also. The ward in Navarrete was fully function and had close 200 hundred members; whereas, Nagua had more like 40 active members. The church out there was also the biggest meetinghouse in the whole Carribean so it was a lot easier to invite people to church. This was probably my most successful area of the mission. The poeple there were extremely poor and humble. Most of the people we taught lived in wooden shacks. They were humble but at the same time they worked every day including Sundays just to have enough money for food. Another funny thing about this are was that I was my trainer's district leader. It was kind of funny how that worked out. This was a awesome area because the work was really good. We had some golden investigators and members that would work really hard.
