Villa Olga
Villa Olga was probably my hardest area. I just left Navarrete and that was probably the easiest area in the mission as far as the work was concerned. Villa Olga was full of huge houses and people drove nothing but BMWs and other nice vehicles. The Dominican Republic is a very poor country, and Villa Olga was the one of the richest areas of the country. We would have to talk to little speaker phones to get into people's houses. Not very easy! Also I had more resposibility because I just became Zone Leader and it seemed like the Zone was struggling when I got there. However, the ward was the most established in our entire mission. They were all experienced members so church was generally a good experience. This area was a good learning experience for me. I learned to be patient, and developed some skills that will help throughout my life.
